Late fees on overdue invoices. The policy below decides whether any invoice is charged; the state rules underneath it substitute a different rate for one billing state.
Finance charging is ON. Overdue invoices accrue 1.5% per month after 10 days of grace, on the original invoice total, with no cap on the number of charges.
Policy
Invoices under an active dispute are never charged. An invoice is charged at most once in any 27-day window. A customer with their own grace override uses that instead of the value above.
Per-state rate overrides
States cap how much interest may be charged on overdue balances. A rule here replaces the policy rate for invoices billed to that state.

Charges appear on the invoice they are applied to and raise its outstanding balance, so they flow through to the A/R dashboard, customer aging, and statements.
